Mohajir Qaumi Movement (MQM) chairman Afaq Ahmed refused the suggestion of the government officials to leave the metropolis after release from the jail.
Some government and police officials met the detained chairman of Mohajir Qaumi Movement (MQM) in central jail, before his release, and try to convince him not to stay in Karachi for the sake of the law and order situation in the metropolis.
Chairman Afaq Ahmed has not accepted the suggestion and clarified the officials that he would restore his central office in Landhi.
The Chairman had been behind bars since April 2004 when he was arrested by the local police and Rangers on account of different charges. Since then he had been facing trials.
A lower court had reserved the judgment on the last case against him which is expected to be announced on April 7.
